There are over 150 species of the Lantana plant and a majority of them are native to the tropical regions but this one flourishes at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The array of colors of this particular species of the Lantana flower form in clusters at the ends of the plant branches.
The Lantana plant flowers throughout much of the year in the tropical gardens at Victoria Butterfly Gardens and the cluster heads can grow to be about 2.5 centimeters in diameter.
