Scattered across the landscape on the banks of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand, an array of beautiful colored Russell Lupins blossom. The Russell Lupins can grow to 1.5 meters in height with flowers that are displayed in rings which start at the base of the stem and then start to work their way up to the tips. The flowers that adorn the lakeshore of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand seem to be in small groups but in areas elsewhere, fields can be covered with Russell Lupins for miles.
