The calm glacially fed lake reflects the snow capped mountains and come June when Lake Moraine peaks the color of the lake turns a prettier shade of blue.
Lake Moraine offers hiking trails with stops along the way to view the breathtaking sight of the lake and the nearby area. Certain times of the year are a little more risky on these hiking trails as you are in bear territory and you should always be alert in case a grizzly bear decides to take the same hiking trail as yourself.
