Other purchase options for Lake Garda Town Torbole Italy
Lake Garda or Lago di Garda is also known as Gardasee and is 50 kilometers long and anywhere from 1 to almost 16 kilometers wide. The town of Torbole, the capital of the Nago-Torbole district of the Trentino-Alto-Adige region of the South Tyrol in Italy, is located on a bay along the eastern bank at the top of Lake Garda.
Torbole has delightful, colourful houses and the many tints contrast with the blue of Lago di Garda. The beautiful lake dates back to the Ice Age and is the largest and one of the cleanest in Italy. Because the landscape changes from mountainous in the north end of Lake Garda to a flat southern end, the waters of the lake, at times, can be extremely rough or as smooth as glass.
The town of Torbole in Italy offers many activities to enjoy on Lake Garda such as sailing, windsurfing, fishing, swimming and any other water sports one can think of. Torbole established the Torbole Windsurfing Club in 1979, which now has around 250 members and hosts numerous international and national competitions and races each year.
The town of Torbole and Lago di Garda in the Trentino-Alto-Adige region of Italy, also has an historic past, dating back to prehistoric times and through the centuries since then. There is something for all visitors to enjoy in this lovely little town of Torbole on the shores of Lake Garda in the South Tyrol, Italy.
