There is not a lot which is more difficult then photographing a breaching killer whale, especially the northern resident killer whales. This behaviour is more often seen with the southern resident killer whales on the southern part of Vancouver Island. This breaching female Orca got photographed from a whale watching tour boat, just off Malcolm Island.
