The Kea is found in the high country regions of the South Island, and are often seen congregating in car parks checking out novel objects. Their beaks are large as these kea pictures show, and extremely powerful. For skiers and snowboarders, the keas are known for their infamous habit of distroying cars left in car parks, cameras, and for theft. These fiesty parrots are also known to gang up on sheep and other farm animals.
