The Kamloops Lake is a beautiful lake located in British Columbia's interior. The lake receives the flow of water from both the North Thompson and South Thompson rivers. The surrounding waterways including Kamloops Lake were once the highways of the great paddlesteamer boat who freighted supplies and gold seekers to the interior. This sign found along the Trans Canada Highway is in honour of the Steamboat Saga of the 1800's.
Located in British Columbia, Kamloops Lake appears like an oasis in interior Canada.
