Whale Watch Kaikoura founded in 1987, started out with one boat and due to the success of their business, several vessels have been added to their fleet, one in particular is the Wheketere. Whale Watching trips leave the dock four times daily and the time spent aboard the boat is between two and a half and three hours.

Whale Watch Kaikoura, will refund 80% of your money if you do not see a whale and that does not make a difference if you are aboard the Wheketere or any of the other vessels that they run.
