Johnstone Strait is a stretch of water which runs along the Northeastern edge of Vancouver Island from Telegraph Cove to Rock Bay, connecting Queen Charlotte Strait in the north with the Strait of Georgia further South. Johnstone Strait is a marine highway for many Alaska bound cruise ships as well as a popular vacation destination. One of the main attractions are the northern resident Killers Whales of Johnstone Strait.
