Jasper Tramway

An exciting trip to do during a visit to the Jasper area is to ride the Tramway to the top of Whistler's Mountain.

An activity to add to your 'to do' list during a vacation in the Canadian Rockies is a trip on the Jasper Tramway which takes you up to 2,277 metres (7472 feet) to the top of Whistler's Mountain. Once you disembark the tram at the Upper Station you can enjoy spectacular views of the Jasper Town site, Lakes, Alberta's longest river the Athabasca River and six mountain ranges in the Jasper National Park. In the upper station of the Jasper Tramway, you can also enjoy the menu from the Treeline Restaurant, or shop for souvenirs at the gift store.
