With his sharp horns ready to take on the world and an intimidating stance, this bull would be ready for battle if it were not a statue.
The bullfighting arena dates back to 1880 and is a well known landmark throughout Spain. Inside there are enough seats for 15,000 spectators, which still fills up today for the bullfights held in August and May each year.
The statue is a fine example of the bulls used in this sport, but once the events start, there is no comparison between the two.
