The bright green colors of the Northern Lights dance across the sky as the stars twinkle brightly from behind over the Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba. Along the shore of the Hudson Bay, an Inukshuk is illuminated from the glow of the Northern Lights and the moon which enlightens the sky.
Most of this display features green hues but some of them produce a mixture of red colors or else they do not appear as bright as these. During the fall and spring seasons, the Northern Lights put on a few shows for the people of Churchill, Manitoba and rushing for a seat is not required.
White fluffy clouds sit off in the distance which are clearly visible once the light from the moon and the Northern Lights take over the sky above the Hudson Bay. Long streaks span across the sky and blurred mists of light scatter off the brighter sections making this natural phenomenon seem to good to be real.
Over the years, every one has a different theory or tale of why and where the Northern Lights appear. Some believe that not only are the Northern Lights spiritual, but also the Inukshuks, making a night like this along the Hudson Bay very magical.
