The playfulness of a foal and the curiosity that it displays do not seem to last too long due to the fact they are weaned from the mother between four and six months of age and mature fairly quickly.
Once this foal grows up, the owner will place a bell around the neck of the horse in case it becomes lost somewhere in the Bonaigua Pass in Catalonia, Spain. These horses are very well taken care of and seem to love the easy and clean life that they lead.
Hiking through the Pyrenees in Catalonia, Spain is an incredible journey to take in the summer months and when you reach Bonaigua Pass, the sight of these animals is breathtaking. You can watch young foals make their way around the meadows and full grown adults run freely under the blue sky high in the Pyrenees.
