The Green Gables House was surrounded by farmland in the early years in Prince Edward Island National Park and since 1939 it was developed into a magnificent, first class golf course. Stanley Thompson, a world renowned architect designed and created the Green Gables Golf Course in Prince Edward Island, Canada along side the ocean. In the 1980's the golf course had some major updates and modifications done to make it even more beautiful than it already was.
Green Gables Golf Course in Canada is a par 72, eighteen hole course with greens that roll in every direction which make it very difficult to read the lay of the green. Even the fairways are manicured rolling hills that can add yardage to your drives depending on how your ball hits the fairway.
The bunkers are fairly deep and can be extremely difficult to get out of. You will also find six fairly large water hazards throughout this course and a small gentle wind that never seems to know which way it is blowing. The Green Gables Golf Course is a challenge to play and is considered to be one of the nicer public courses in Canada.
After your round at Green Gables, dine in the exquisite clubhouse that offers some fantastic meals or have a pleasurable snack and meal in the smaller cafe.
