They can eat so many different things because they have such hearty stomachs and each compartment takes care of a different kind of digestion for them. At the Mennonite Heritage Village, which recreates the Mennonite way of life in the 16th century, owning cattle was an important part of a family's livelihood. It is on about 40 acres of land and invites tourists to come and see how life was for the Mennonite people. The Mennonite people have since become synonymous with the historic peace churches and preach non-violence and pacifism.
