This giraffe goes for a daily stroll in his habitat of African grasslands at the Auckland Zoo on the North Island of New Zealand. You can observe the giraffe as he gracefully maneuvers around his habitat from an elevated board walk that gives you an outstanding view of this incredible animal.

He will rest his head upon the fence and examine you as much as you examine him. The Auckland Zoo in New Zealand has times arranged to have these close encounters with the giraffe as well as many of the other animals in the habitat of the Pridelands.
