A foggy night is not uncommon around Battle Harbour in Southern Labrador as the warm summer weather can create a thick fog bank, especially during the night and early morning hours. The General Store is a historic building which is often used by many of the visitors to Battle Harbour, as the store is stocked with supplies needed by daytime guests, but more so by people using the accommodations available on the island.
