Garda Lake or Lago di Garda in the Trentino-Alto region of Northern Italy is one of three popular lakes in the area. Lake Maggiore and Lake Como are quite close to Milan, but Lake Garda, the largest of the three, is nearer to Verona and Venice. The little town of Torbole sits on the side of Mount Baldo and still seems to have preserved the old world atmosphere of a centuries old fishing village.
