Under the towering rock formation of Los Mallos de Riglos in Huesca, Aragon in Spain, there is a group of nine villages known as Las Penas de Riglos. Riglos is considered the most important but the other little settlements, Ena, Rasal, Salinas de Jaca, Santa Maria, Triste, Villalangua, Centenero and Yeste, all have their own unique charm.
The terraced groves and vineyards below the village spread down to the winding road. The GR 1 Historic Route, a marked pathway through the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains, passes through Las Penas de Riglos. Riglos is the main village which brings in the tourists due to the unique rock formation, the Los Mallos de Riglos towering above the rest of the landscape.
