Bottlenose Dolphins are extremely intelligent animals and once these five are taken out for some play time, they also know the trainers are right behind with fish. All five hang around the side of the pool eager to perform for the crowds of people at the L'Oceanografic in Valencia, Spain while they wait for signals from the trainers.
A total of twenty Bottlenose Dolphins reside at the L'Oceanografic at the City of Arts and Science in Valencia, Spain and small groups are created to make the performance the best. Some days, a dolphin may not be up to par or not want to perform and another family member jumps in to fill the gap. They can be just like humans sometimes as everyone has an off day here or there.
With their noses hovering on the surface of the water, their tail flukes underneath are moving back and forth to keep this dolphins dancing. Once they perform a trick for the audience, they are rewarded with fish which they can easily catch from the other side of the pool if they needed to.
At the L'Oceanografic in Valencia, Spain the Bottlenose Dolphins are just a small portion of what there is to see while visiting here. The dolphin show is very exciting and there are regular performances throughout the day so that everyone has a chance to see at least one when visiting the L'Oceanografic.
