Australia is where the Emu originates from and is the second largest bird in the world after the ostrich. The Auckland Zoo in New Zealand is home to this large Emu where he roams throughout the lush green grass of his habitat.
The Emu grows to be about 2 meters tall, can weigh up to 45 kilograms and a single stride can cover 3 meters taking the Emu to speeds of up to 50 kilometers an hour.
