The Badwater Basin in the Death Valley National Park of California, USA, is one of the earth's lowest points. At 282 feet (86 metres) below sea level, Badwater is the lowest point in North America. The Dead Sea Shore is actually the Earth's Lowest point at 1369 feet (417.5 metres) below sea level.
