The trainer reaches for the fish to reward the three Bottlenose Dolphins who have performed one of the tricks for visitors to the aquarium pool at the L'Oceanografic in Valencia, Spain. The aquarium has a total of five pools and it is the largest habitat for dolphins found throughout Europe.
As three dolphins wait for their food, they will not be instructed to do anything else until the trainer has rewarded them. The water in the pool swirls around the Bottlenose Dolphins as they keep themselves positioned in one place.
In the background, a set up stairs leads up to a platform in another pool where some of the high leap tricks are done. The aquarium at the L'Oceanografic at the City of Arts and Science in Valencia, Spain is an afternoon of excitement for the whole family and the Bottlenose Dolphins always put on a great show.
