The very popular town of Denia is the most northern of the many resorts on the Costa Blanca in Valencia, Spain. Apart from the fact there are little coves and beaches to explore nearby, tourists can take a ferry from Denia to the Balearic Islands. The port at Denia on the Costa Blanca is the nearest ferry terminal in this area of Spain to the islands of Ibiza and Mallorca.

Fishing and tourism is the most important livelihood for the people of Denia in Valencia. It is a great family-oriented vacation town, especially if the families are interested in water sports. The wind surfing and water skiing are excellent along this part of the Costa Blanca, or if fishing is dad's passion, he can emulate the gentleman in the photo.

Denia is in the middle of the Mount Montgo Natural Park where there are plenty of trails, well marked, for all ages and experience. There are hundreds of interesting species of plants and many animals native to the park.
