On a hill above Bolea you will find the impressive Colegiata de Santa Maria built in 1556. An Arabian castle once stood on the site of this Renaissance church in Bolea in Huesca, Aragon in Spain. When visitors enter the Colegiata they are sure to enjoy the beauty of the main altarpiece consisting of seventy-seven paintings, the work of an anonymous painter known only as the 'master of Bolea'. The sculptures and carvings are credited to Gil de Brabante.
