Travellers on the D952 can start from Castellane and drive the twisting road through the wild and rugged Gorges du Verdon to Moustiers Ste Marie.
The narrow two-lane cliffside road D952 has hair-raising turns and very few guardrails. It can be a little hard on the nerves if one meets a tour bus or a recreational vehicle on one of the turns.
