This house was made into a guest house where there are four bedrooms, each being able to accommodate a varied number of people, two with a shared bathroom and two with private bathrooms. On the main floor there is a common room for everyone to share where you can sit in the serenity of Cape d'Or, Nova Scotia and look out over the Bay of Fundy. If you would rather sit inside in the comfort of the common room instead of taking in the fresh air on the cliff, this would be the best room to watch the sun rise in the morning.
A good night's sleep at the Cape d'Or Lighthouse is usually part of the package unless the bay becomes fogged in and then you will listen to the foghorn echoing. This is a unique place to stay while in Nova Scotia and it is truly one of the most amazing places for the scenery.
