Before beginning your hike through the Canon de Anisclo, be well prepared with lots of water and snacks as it gets very hot in the summer months. The heat gets trapped between the high cliffs of the canyon making it unbearable at times and taking cover in the wilderness shade or a dip in the Rio Bellos is the only way to cool off.
