The cute face of a Canadian Eskimo Dog puppy who rests quietly in his hometown of Churchill, Manitoba with his other family members who are sleeping very close. The way the puppies are laying makes the one little fellow appear to have far too many paws and it is the ideal time for a picture.
Canadian Eskimo Dog puppies have a sweet and gentle nature, they love to be cuddled and are extremely rambunctious and mischievous. Many of the puppies that are born are meant for breeding purposes but more people are falling in love with these type of dogs and keeping them for pets.
As a pet, they do require special treatment and should be kept in a pen or crate for sleeping in as their natural instinct is to find a den when shelter is needed. Their diet needs to contain the appropriate food, proper training is essential and plenty of exercise is a must. Not an extremely easy species of dog to own, but well worth the effort due to their loyalty and trust.
All these special requirements, plus many more are needed if the puppies are being bred and are to be used with the dog sleds. For breeders, there are certain aspects a Canadian Eskimo Dog must have such as the proper positioning of their ears, the ideal tail, perfectly shaped hips and rear legs.
But while the puppies are little, they can snuggle up together and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. A picture like this is worth a thousand words.
