Moose are usually brownish in color with a short neck and tail and a long nose. The shape of the body of a moose seems hunched due to the fact that their front legs are longer than their backs legs. From...
... their throat hangs a tuft of fur that can grow to be about a foot long.
Moose are usually solitary animals and should never be approached too closely especially in breeding season as they can become very aggressive and curious about any noise.
Back in 1904 four moose were brought to Newfoundland from New Brunswick and the population continued to grow. By the year 1930, there were so many moose running free that Newfoundland, Canada was allowed to have its very first hunting season.
