Other purchase options for Bullfrog Picture
The bullfrog is an aquatic frog which is a large species of the Ranidae family and can be very hard to find in the wilderness. At the Biodome de Montreal, they can be fairly easy to find like this particular bullfrog sitting peacefully while visitors pass by and take his picture.
A female bullfrog grows to be much larger than a male but both sexes are usually green or brown in color with either dark brown, dark green or black blotches on their backside and a yellow or white underside. They can make distinct calls which are very loud such as a human burp, only the bullfrog noise can carry for a long distance.
A meal for the bullfrog can consist of a variety of different items such as insects, fish, snakes and when really hungry, other frogs. To catch their food, the bullfrog will sit patiently and wait for their prey to pass by and then they stretch out their tongue and quickly grab it.
Many people find a bullfrog a little repulsive while others find them fascinating little creatures and keep them as household pets. Others will eat parts of a bullfrog and many schools have been known to use them in a dissection program in science class.
This bullfrog is lucky to enjoy the beauty of the Laurentian Forest at the Biodome de Montreal in Quebec, Canada and the only thing he needs to worry about is visitors taking his picture. A life of luxury for a bullfrog.
