The bullfrog is an aquatic frog which is a large species of the Ranidae family and can be very hard to find in the wilderness. At the Biodome de Montreal, they can be fairly easy to find like this particular bullfrog sitting peacefully while visitors pass by and take his picture.
A female bullfrog grows to be much larger than a male but both sexes are usually green or brown in color with either dark brown, dark green or black blotches on their backside and a yellow or white underside.
