The Alexandra Suspension Bridge was the first bridge to cross over the Fraser River in BC, Canada. Built in 1863 near Spuzzum, the bridge is built along a section of the Cariboo Wagon Road between Spuzzum and Lytton. Spanning a narrow section of the river, the Alexandra Suspension Bridge is approximately 300 feet or 90 metres in length and was the first suspension bridge in BC.
