The interesting town of Bozen, or Bolzano as the Italians call it, in the South Tyrol region of Italy, is either at the start or finish (whichever direction one is going), of the Strada di Vino, the Wine Road. The town of Bolzano/Bozen is the main town of the Aldo Adige area in the South Tyrol, Italy. Dating back to the Iron Age, although it was in the Middle Ages when it became popular as a busy market town, due mainly because of its location on the junction of the Isarco and Talvera rivers.
The town of Bozen is surrounded by scenic mountains that tower above the beautiful landscape as the white billowy clouds on this day slowly drift by. An interesting and pretty town, Bozen is well worth a visit while in South Tyrol, Italy.
