An adult Australasian Gannet has a wing span that can reach up to two meters and will grow to be about two kilograms in weight. The gannet is a very awkward type of bird on land but once airborne they are known for their gracefulness. While diving for fish they can start at outrageous heights and soar to the sea below for their catch.
