On the North Taranaki Bight in NZ you will find one of the most beautiful places in the world. These cliffs are known as the White Cliffs of NZ which was taken from the White Cliffs of Dover in England.
When the tide is out along the North Taranaki Bight coastline, the beach is sometimes an easier route to take than the hiking trails. An especially long trek is the White Cliffs Walkway which is about a ten hour round trip and parts of the trails are not meant for unexperienced hikers.
While walking along the beach, you will notice that the sand is black in color and the cliffs have all been carved from the salt water. The cliffs rise to over nine hundred feet and the lush greenery starts to grow just above the water line.
The North Taranki Bight in NZ is a place of amazing beauty and once you have been here, you are more than likely to return. A paradise for ocean lovers where you can stroll the beach, explore trails through native coastal forests and see the famous rugged coastline of the White Cliffs.
