Artists that visit Southern Labrador create a variety of artwork in different ways but these people that spent the day at the Pinware River Mouth made a driftwood and shell display on the beach. Five mussel shells create a pinwheel shape on either side of a piece of driftwood that was washed up along the beach.
In the backdrop, small tufts of sand rise above the flat spots on the beach and where the artwork lies in the foreground, the sand has slight ripples in it. At the Pinware River Mouth in Southern Labrador, you can walk for quite a distance along the waterfront where you can find a variety of items to make an artwork display.
