A baby seal tries sleeping through the commotion of a recent visit by media to the ice floes on the Gulf of St Lawrence in Canada. New born baby seal pups spend most of their time, up to 80%, resting or sleeping. During the first 12-14 days of their lives, harp seal pups more than triple their weight at birth when feeding on their mothers rich milk which contains up to 45% fat.
