During a visit to the ice floes on the Gulf of St Lawrence we saw some really cute baby animals, harp seal pups. This seal pup was being visited and nuzzled by its mother. Female harp seals identify their young from all the other look alike white coats by scent alone and will generally reject all others except her own.
