To see the Aurora borealis, the arctic northern lights, is a great experience. It is very difficult to describe what they look like. We spend many nights taking photos of Aurora borealis in Alaska as well as in the northern parts of Canada (mainly in the Yukon), we have seen so many different colors and shapes that we tell people only one thing: You gotta see the Aurora borealis with your own eyes - just to believe some of the stories you always hear about the dancing northern lights, the mystic Aurora Borealis.
Make sure to read our story about the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and to visit our category page for our Northern Light pictures.
