Arctic Wolf: Scientific Name:
Canis lupus arctos

The Arctic Wolf lives in one of the most inhospitable regions of the world. Subjected to sub-zero temperatures, months of darkness, and no food. The main food source for the arctic wolf is musk oxen and caribou although arctic hare and lemmings often supplement their diet. The Arctic Wolf is a subspecies of the Gray Wolf.
