Heather and Paul McCartney were on the ice along with the Humane Society of the United States, to promote the protection of Harp Seals before the annual hunt begins in March 2006.
This female harp seal displays typical behaviors of an animal with their young, popping out of her ice hole to keep watch over her cute pup.
