The pathway leading to the gates of the historic Andalusia Parliament Building in the City of Sevilla, Spain is adorned by tall palm trees swaying in the breeze. The Andalusian Parliament has many functions which take place once inside the building and it is one of four regional legislatures throughout Spain. Built in 1546 and up until 1972, this building was home to the Hospital of the "Cinco Llagas" (Five Bruises), but it was not until February 28th, 1992 that it was inaugurated as the Andalusia Parliament Building.
