The village of Aguero, in Aragon is located about 28 miles to the northeast of Huesca and is molded into the base of the Mallos de Riglos. These gigantic red rock formations stand about 980 feet high and an estimated 3,300 feet above sea level. They tower over Aguero, Aragon and make the village appear even smaller than it actually is.
