All-season adventures are behind every shot. To take a picture of a bear, you're going to have to get up close and meet them. To shoot on the Dempster Highway, you're going to have to drive it, and you can't take a picture of the Milford Sound Track if you're not there.
These photos take you to some of the extremes of all-season adventure travel. Under-sea adventures could find you swimming with the sharks near the Galapagos. Way up North, the Northern Lights will take your breath away if the cold doesn't first. Icebergs off the coast of Newfoundland, those shipping-lane-hazards, appear as gently sculpted monuments from the seat of a kayak. And you never know when the wildlife will appear.
As a sign on the back roads of Vancouver Island warns, the adventure traveler must always be prepared for the unexpected. And when it happens, make sure to have your camera ready.
As a Nature and Travel Photographer we visit not only scenic locations, or destinations where we find Wildlife, quite often there is a lot of adventure involved into our job, some light adventure, sometimes even more then we like having with our cameras.
